The sizzling sunshine wasn’t the only thing heating up the tarmac at the Mandalika Festival of Speed 2025, held from July 18–20 at the world-class Mandalika International Street Circuit. As one of Indonesia’s most anticipated touring and time-attack events, the weekend served up a thrilling mix of speed, strategy, and resilience. The Smart Racing Team and REA Racing Team, supported by BRIX Performance, stepped up to the challenge.

ITCR 1500 – Seeded B Class:
The weekend didn’t begin smoothly for Abraham F. Nadeak. In Race 1, while gunning for a strong result in the ITCR 1500 – Seeded B Class, his Honda City Hatchback was struck mid-race by another competitor, a hit that forced an early DNF and cast doubt over the remainder of the weekend.
But behind every DNF is a story of resolve. The Smart Racing Team crew worked overnight to get the car back into fighting shape. With the car rebalanced and race-ready by morning, Abraham returned with a vengeance in Race 2, carving through the field and clinching a P3 podium finish as a true comeback story.

His Honda City was running BRIX Competition Series rotors, the same setup previously used at Sentul. Mandalika’s higher surface temperatures and longer braking zones posed a bigger thermal challenge, but the system held strong across both races. Consistent pedal feel, fade resistance, and confident stopping power made the difference.

BRZ Super Series AM Class:
In a class where every car is identically modified, driver skill takes center stage. That’s the essence of the BRZ Super Series AM Class and Wildan Rizkyansyah of REA Racing Team delivered exactly that.
With a steady hand and sharp awareness, Wildan navigated the chaos of Race 1 to secure P3, making the most of Mandalika’s technical layout and managing tire temps in the scorching July sun.

The momentum continued in Race 2, where he rose to P2 with clean, calculated moves. With BRIX Special Order rotors that fit his Subaru BRZ, engineered for sustained temperature control and brake modulation under load. Even after back-to-back race deployment and punishing circuit heat, the braking system remained reliable. Evidence of both design and driver synergy.

From the high-speed rhythm of the BRZ class to the adrenaline-filled redemption arc in ITCR, this race weekend showcased more than just speed. It spotlighted team resilience, driver focus, and brake systems that perform under pressure.
